Party agents of the two main political parties, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday resorted to the use of bell to invite residents out to vote at the Ilasamaja area of Mushin Local Government.
The Next Edition Correspondent reports that turn out of voters in the area was very low, as many expressed disenchantment with the events and final result of the presidential and national assembly elections.
Following the low turn out, party agents, short of embarking on a door-to door campaign to call people out went on the streets with bell calling on residents to come out and votes.
While some were out with bells, others went beseeching youths playing football on the streets and some women selling along the road to come and vote.

At one of the polling units, our correspondent observed an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, sleeping on a wrapper spread on the floor.
Some of the residents who spoke to our correspondent noted that their was no point voting as it has been made obvious that the votes do not count.
Mr. Okwudiri Anazodo, was particularly irked by the incident that took place at a polling unit in Okota where Igbos were chased away and ballot boxes and papers were burnt.
“Since Yorubas are insisting that Lagos is their own, let them do their voting and choose their governor. Whether I vote or not, it does not matter. So why should I bother?”
