Akase explained that “Governor Ortom only approved the request of the State Police Command for support, to enable it bring the constables back to the state from Nigeria Police Training School, Enugu.

He stated that it was not the responsibility of the Governor to determine the type of vehicles the command would use for that purpose.

“We find the said video as an act of mischief and deliberate attempt to cast the Governor in bad light”, he said.
