Gov Ortom Condoles SCOAN Over Prophet T.B Joshua As Nigerians Express Shock

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, has expressed deep sympathy with the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) and the entire Christian community in Nigeria over the death of Prophet T.B Joshua.

The Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, described the sudden demise of the renowned preacher as shocking and unfortunate.

He said the evangelist will be remembered not only for spreading the gospel of Christ but also for his humanitarian works through which he positively touched millions of lives.

Ortom on behalf of the government and people of Benue State, prayed that God grants the soul of Prophet T.B Joshua eternal rest and his family and members of his church the strength to bear the loss.

Also a Prophet of God, Pastor Samuel Otee, described the death of Prophet T.B Joshua as shocking saying it was the last thing that anyone expected.

Pastor Otee said, “I cried in my heart this morning when I heard the terrible news. I am so surprised,” he said.

He described the late T.B Joshua as a great man of God and a humanitarian to the core saying “he was someone I respected, admired and followed.”

He prayed God to rest his soul, grant him a special place in heaven and the family, fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, other residents of Makurdi have continued to express shock over the sudden death of the prophet.

Mr. Emmanuel Tordim who expressed sadness over the death told The Next Edition that he is too shocked to believe the news at first.

“No, I can’t believe this. I don’t know how to come to terms with this kind of news. We didn’t even hear that he was sick. The world is really coming to an end. May his soul rest in peace,” he said.
