The directive is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Ekerete Udoh, on Tuesday in Uyo.

Udoh said the governor’s directive was to ensure accountability and service delivery.

“The verifiable achievements recorded will enable effective and more robust planning for the next phase of governance,” Udoh said.

He said the scorecard should be submitted through the Office of the Commissioner for Local and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Frank Archibong.

He added that all the reports from the transition chairmen must reach the governor on or before May 20.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the State House of Assembly on May 9 at plenary, refused to elongate the tenure of the transition chairmen as requested by the governor.

The house resolved to assess their performances before granting tenure extension.(NAN)
