Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated the chairman of Eleganza Group and RAO Property Investment Company, Chief (Dr) Razaq Akanni Okoya, on his 80th birthday.

The speaker, in a congratulatory message by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, described Chief Razaq Okoya, a foremost industrialist,as one Nigerian that has contributed to the country’s growth in different ways through his group of companies over the years.

Gbajabiamila noted with delight how Okoya helped in reducing the rate of unemployment in the country by employing thousands of Nigerians under his brand.

“Here is wishing a Nigerian of inestimable value a happy 80th birthday. Chief Razaq Akanni Okoya comes across as a citizen with a broad mind and a lot of vision for this country.

“His has been a success story over the years, and as a country, we remain grateful to him for taking many Nigerians off the streets and offering them means of livelihood.

“It is to the credit of this great Nigerian that a brand under the Eleganza Group of Companies has become a success story. His entire life has been laced with service to humanity.

“Achieving 80 years on this earth is not a trivial matter, and doing so in good health and reverberating spirit is another milestone in life.

“I, therefore, wish Chief (Dr) Razaq Akanni Okoya a happy 80th birthday and wonderful years ahead,” Gbajabiamila said.
