Incidentally, former Chief of Army Staff, Theophilus Danjuma, is from the local government where the killings were carried out.
It would be recalled that Danjuma recently called on Nigerians to defend themselves against attacks.
He said relying on security agencies would not yield any fruit as he said the military had been compromised.
His call had generated controversy as people were divided over the correctness or otherwise of the call.
