The Office of the Director, Elections and Party Monitoring Department (EPM) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been gutted by fire.
The source of the fire incident is yet unknown.

According to INEC’s Director of publicity and voter education, Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, the fire has been contained by the fire service department of the commission.
The Next Edition gathered that besides photocopy machines and other office equipment, no sensitive or confidential materials and documents were affected in the fire outbreak.
