A civil rights activist who is pro President Muhammadu Buhari, Osuagwu Ugochukwu, has warned Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, against attempts at ridiculing the president who is on medical vacation.

His warning is coming against the latest claim by Fayose that the president was admitted on one West End Hospital in London and had been on life support for 20 days.

In a statement he issued, the governor had also claimed that the audio of the eid-el-fitri message by the president was false and meant to deceive Nigerians.

But in a swift reaction, Ugochukwu said Fayose’s claims on Buhari’s state of health were fraught with lies.

The activist said contrary to his claims, Fayose had no fact about the president.

According to Osuagwu, Fayose had in February 2015 alleged that Buhari was admitted in a London hospital and not billed to attend any Chatham House Lecture and that turned out to be false.

“The same Fayose had quoted the Hospital address then in 2015 to be located at Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London.

“For the records, there is nothing like WEST END HOSPITAL in LONDON. This alone shows that Fayose must have been misled by the so-called insiders feeding him with information about our President in London.

“Governor Fayose should rather stop all these puerile attempts at ridiculing the president simply because he went for medical vacation,” the rights activist warned.

Osuagwu said rather than giving the 48 hours for the presidency to debunk his tales it was rather the other way round for Governor Fayose to provide evidence of what he was alleging as what he had claimed to be WEST END HOSPITAL did not exist.
