The Federal Government said on Tuesday it has not compiled a ‘no-fly list’ of persons who participated in the recent #EndSARS protests.

The Federal Ministry of Interior stated this on Tuesday on it official Twitter handle in response to a social media publication that it has begun the compilation of a ‘no-fly list.’

The Ministry, described the publication as fake news, asking the general public to ignore it.

It wrote: “The Ministry of Interior did not, has not and will not generate any no-fly list. Ignore fake news, please!”

One of the #EndSARS promoters, Modupe Odele, a legal practitioner, had disclosed on Monday that she was stopped from travelling out of the country at the weekend.

According to her, an immigration officer, shortly after clearing her to travel, called her back to say he had orders from above to detain her.

She stated that she was not told who ordered her detention or the reason for it.

However, on Tuesday, Odele, disclosed that she had been invited by Immigration Service to comr with her lawyer.
