According to Fayemi in a statement issued by his spokesman, Wole Olujobi, supplementary budget was not in the interest of the people of the state.

But at a session on Thursday, the bill which was submitted to the House and described as “2018 Revised Budget,” was passed.

The session was presided over by the Speaker, Hon. Kola Oluwawole, and in attendance were 14 lawmakers.

The bill went through first, second readings and committee review before it was passed within the hour.
