Hollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has tendered an apology to his first wife, May, eight months after marrying a new wife, Judy Austin.
In an Instagram post Wednesday, Edochie apologised publicly to his first wife, stating that he was not perfect as everyone else, save God.
Yul had in April 2022, introduced his son, Star Dike Munachimso, from Judy, a colleague in Nollywood, an action that raised a lot of dust.
According to reports, Yul married his first wife, May, at 22, in 2004, after dating for six years.
Despite the backlash he received for the seeming betrayal of his wife of 18 years, the actor insisted that there was nothing wrong with polygamy. He tried hard to justify his decision to marry a second wife, saying he couldn’t let go.
However, in a turn of events, Yul apologised to his first wife, May, on Wednesday, reiterating the fact that he didn’t marry a second wife to spite or replace her.
