EFCC Raids Ibadan Night Club, Arrests 89 Suspected ‘Yahoo-Boys’

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Office, has arrested 89 suspected internet fraudsters at the popular Club 360 in Ibadan.

The commission’s spokesman, Mr. Tony Orilade made this known in a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday.

Club 360 is located on Akala Expressway, Oluyole Extension in Ibadan.

Disclosing the arrest of the suspects, Orilade noted that the commission had carried out series of discreet surveillance on the night club before the raid.

According to him, intelligence report indicated that the club was notorious for harbouring suspected internet fraudsters.

The EFCC spokesman said the raid led to the confiscation of many vehicles, laptops, sophisticated phones and other items.

Meanwhile, he said the suspects were presently undergoing interrogation.
