The tone for the remaining two years of Donald Trump’s presidency seem to have been set as Democrats and Republicans have begun bickering at each other.
Few hours after the midterm elections, indications have begun to emerge that it is going to be a battle between the House of Representatives controlled now by Democrats and Senate ran by the Republicans and the White House.
Shortly after it became obvious that the Democrats have taken over the house, talks began to make the rounds that President Trump’s taxes will be investigated among others.

Responding to the speculations on his twitter page, Trump said, “If the Democrats think they are going to waste Taxpayer Money investigating us at the House level, then we will likewise be forced to consider investigating them for all of the leaks of Classified Information, and much else, at the Senate level. Two can play that game!”
By this it seems the battle line has been drawn. It will be interesting to see how the next two years play out in American politics.
