Nigerian celebrity artiste, Davido, has vowed to make sure N250 million donations he pledged to orphanages across Nigeria will not be looted.
The music star made this known on Monday, November 22, 2021, in a reply to a tweet made on Twitter in reaction to the funds received from his colleagues and fans.
The Twitter handler tweeted, “I told mum what Davido did and I’ve never seen her revolt so passionately against something.”

“She said the money won’t get to the children cos welfare officers steal all. I hate Nigeria. She said its so bad that nurses never want to leave welfare homes when they’re posted there.”
He replied with, “I will personally make sure this doesn’t occur !! I put that on my life!”
It would be recalled that Davido decided to donate all the funds he received towards his birthday to orphanages across Nigeria.
