The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday reported 474 new COVID-19 infections in Nigeria.
It however, stated that confirmed cases included data reported from Kebbi and Adamawa over two weeks.
The NCDC in an update on its website published late on Wednesday, also disclosed that two COVID-19 related deaths were recorded on the day in review while 132 persons who made full recovery were discharged.
Meanwhile, the health agency said the latest infections were recorded from 15 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The FCT recorded the highest number of confirmed cases with 180 new infections, followed by Lagos with 134 new infections.
Other states that recorded new infections according to the NCDC are as follows; Kebbi-45, Adamawa-26, Plateau-16, Enugu-14, Taraba-14, Gombe-12, Nasarawa-8, Yobe-8, Rivers-5, Ogun-5, Kwara-2, Ekiti-2, Sokoto-2 and Osun-1.
The disease control body said that till date, 70,669 cases had been confirmed and that 65,242 cases had been discharged, while 1,184 deaths had been recorded in the 36 states and the FCT.
