The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 195 additional cases of COVID-19 raising the total number of infections in the country to 57,437.
The new cases were reported on Monday from 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory with Enugu recording the highest number, 51.
The health agency also reported two deaths on the day in review, putting the total fatalities from the virus as of Monday, Sept. 21, at 1,100.
On the positive side, the agency said the number of persons who have made full recovery from the virus increased to 48,674.

Details of the latest infections are as follows – Enugu (51), Gombe (40), Lagos (39), Plateau (23), FCT (15), Rivers (12), Kaduna (8), Ondo (3), Bauchi (2), Edo (1) and Ogun (1).
