Nigeria has recorded 118 additional cases of COVID-19, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said.
This brings the total number of cases across the country to 61,558.

According to the health agency, the new cases were reported from nine states and Abuja on Monday.
Lagos state recorded the highest number of fresh cases with 71 new infections.
The NCDC said also that 56,697 cases have been discharged overall, while 1,125 deaths have resulted from the virus.
It gave the details of the new infections as follows- Lagos (51), Rivers (26), Imo (12), Osun (8), Plateau (6), FCT (5), Kaduna (4), Ogun (3), Edo (2) and Niger (1).
