Babcock University, has asked students to vacate the school in compliance with the directive of the Ogun State government that all schools in the state be closed.
A statement issued by the institution’s management on Thursday said the school will be “officially closed with effect from Friday (20th day of March 2020) until further notice.”
The statement read:
In compliance and with the directive of the Ogun State Government that all the schools in the state (public and private) be closed forthwith, to prevent the citizens from contracting the #CoronaVirusNigeria, @Babcock_Univ Administration wishes to state as follows:
1, that the University is officially closed with effect from Friday (20th day of March 2020) until further notice.
2, Parents are enjoined to come into the @Babcock_Univ and pick their wards within the following time frame:

(a) Friday, 20th March, between the hours of 7a.m – 3p.m
(b) Sunday, 22nd March, 2020 between the hours of 7a.m to 5p.m

PLEASE NOTE:
1, THERE SHALL BE NO EVACUATION OF STUDENTS ON SATURDAY, 21TH MARCH, 2020.
2, AS PART OF THE CURTAILMENT MEASURES, ALREADY ESTABLISHED COVID-19 PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES SHALL CONTINUE.
