Nigeria has recorded 152 additional cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The health agency, which disclosed this in its daily update on its website, said 264 cases were discharged also in the last 24 hours while two fatalities occurred.

With the latest numbers, the NCDC said: “Till date, 64336 cases have been confirmed, 60333 cases have been discharged and 1160 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
It noted that the 152 new cases were reported from eight states and the Federal Capital Territory with Lagos recording the highest number – 93.
The others include: FCT (21), Oyo (15), Rivers (11), Bauchi (7), Kwara (2), Bayelsa (1), Edo (1) and Plateau (1).
