The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has directed its parishes in Lagos and Ogun States to shut down services.
Recall that the two states alongside others had suspended social and religious gatherings of over 50 persons following the increased number of people testing positive to the coronavirus in Nigeria.
As at Thursday, Nigeria had recorded 12 confirmed cases of the virus, majority of them in Lagos.
Assistant General Overseer (Administration) MFM, Gbesan Adebambo in a memo titled: “Interim arrangement for ministerial services in Lagos and Ogun states MFM Regions” on Friday, ordered its parishes in Lagos and Oguns States to cancel all services.

The church also directed that all house fellowship meetings at any of the centres be postponed till further notice.
The memo read: “No services including deliverance ministrations must hold in any of MFM branches at all levels in the Region under your supervision until further notice.
“Likewise, all house fellowship meetings at any of the centres are postponed till further notice.”
