There are conflicting reports over the real reason behind President Muhammadu Buhari’s powerful nephew’s trip to the United Kingdom.
Mamman Daura, reputed to be the head of the cabal and defactor head of government, was reportedly flown to the UK on Wednesday for urgent medical treatment.
According to a SaharaReporters’ report, Daura, 79, was said to have been exhibiting respiratory difficulties with symptoms similar to Coronavirus since last Friday.
However, Leadership Newspaper on Thursday reported that the head of the cabal was hale and hearty.

The paper, quoting an unnamed top presidency source, said Daura was in the UK for business reasons.
According to the paper, the source who maintained that Daura is in good health, said: “he will return after finishing the business engagement that necessitated his trip to the United Kingdom.
“Daura is fine, and in good health. The rumour that he was flown abroad was baseless and false. He is in London for a business trip that was long planned. Once he is done, he will return.”
However, the question that Nigerians would want answered is; how come Daura flew to the UK for a business trip when the Nigerian airports are still closed to international passenger traffic?”
