Relief has come the way of Benue State College of Health Technology, Agasha, as the institution has been fully accredited to train categories of community health workers and trainees in the state.
The institution which had hitherto lost its status will now train Junior Community Health Extension worker, (JCHEW), Community Health Extension Worker, (CHEW) and TRAINEES.
Receiving the letter, Commissioner of health, Joseph Ngbea, expressed happiness over the report and attributed the success of the Re-accreditation of the college to government’s untiring effort in changing the health narrative of Benue State.

Earlier, the Principal of the College, Mrs. Esther Menger while presenting the letter said the Notice of the Re-accreditation was communicated to the college and duely signed by Bashir Idris, the Registrar and CEO of the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria.
She said the Board gave the approval after considering the report of accreditation team who visited the institution on 18th to 20th July, 2021.
