A pastor and his accomplice narrowly escaped being lynched for tearing and burning the muslim holy book, Al-Quran.
The incident happened around the central mosque on Saturday in Ankpa local government area of Kogi State.
Following the actions of the pastor and his accomplice, some resident were enraged and descended on them.

But for the timely intervention of the police, they would probably have been killed.
The men were taken to the palace of the King of Ankpa and later taken to Kogi.
