Grammy award winning Nigerian, Burna Boy, has given his two cents on Ghanaian artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s rants on Nigerians not supporting other African artistes.
Burna Boy took to his Instagram story on Friday, December 31, 2021 to give his opinion.
He wrote, “Dem dey play South African, American and UK music also for GH. But na Nigerian own be issue. Something fishy is smelling.”
According to him, pushing the agenda of separation between the African nations is a grave disservice to the next generations.
He also stated that it goes against everything he stands for as a man and an unapologetic pan Africanist.

“Pushing this agenda of separation between our beautiful African nations is a grave disservice to the generations coming after us, and it goes against everything I stand for as a man and as an unapologetic pan Africanist.”
“Therefore, if Shatta or anyone has a personal problem with me. I’m still open to fight 1 on 1 and squash it after, the same way I’ve always been.”
“Nobody will ruin the unity we continuously try to build for a stronger and better Africa.”
Earlier in the week, Shatta Wale blasted Nigerians telling them to be grateful to Ghana for supporting Nigerian artistes.
“It’s the truth, your artistes come here for numbers before the world can recognise them. Appreciate Ghana supporting your artiste and stop this foolishness.”
Stonebwoy also agreed with his colleague saying that Nigerians don’t reciprocate the love they receive from Ghana.
