A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State, Bunmi Ojo, was shot dead on Friday.
Ojo, a former Special Assistant to former Governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni, was shot at a viewing centre in Ado Ekiti.
The gunmen were unidentified.
It was gathered that Ojo was trailed to the viewing centre along Adebayo Road.
Having identified, him, the gunmen rained bullets on him and confirmed that he was dead before they sped off.
