Buhari signs 2018 budget next week –Presidency

President Muhammadu Buhari will sign the 2018 budget next week.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, made this known on Wednesday when speaking with State House correspondents in Abuja.

He however did not state the specific day.

His words:  “The position on the 2018 budget is that it will be signed next week.

“You will be told the specific date, but one thing we are sure of is that the budget will be signed next week.’’

The N9.12 trillion was passed by the National Assembly on May 16.

The Presidency acknowledged receipt of the document on May 25 and promised that it would soon be passed.
