President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Nigeria’s former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Christopher Kolade, as he turned 85 on Thursday.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Femi Adesina, the president commended Kolade for his contributions to the nation’s development.

He said his achievements over the years gave credence to his power of discipline, focus and integrity.
The statement reads in part: “As he turns 85 years, the president commends Dr. Kolade’s many years of contributions to national development as an academic, administrator and a diplomat, especially in continually counseling leaders and mentoring the younger generation.”
The president prayed God to grant Kolade more wisdom, longer life and good health to continually serve the nation and humanity.
