President Muhammadu Buhari has assigned the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to resolve all disagreements within the party.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, made this known in a statement on Tuesday.
According to him, Tinubu’s assignment was specifically to consult with party members in order to reconcile all aggrieved parties and build confidence in the party.
The statement reads: “As part of on-going efforts to improve cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari, has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts.
“The assignment will involve resolving disagreements among party members, party leadership and political office holders in some states of the Federation.”
