Breaking: Youth Block Benue Govt. House, Prevent Ortom From Attending APC Reconciliation Meeting in Abuja

Hundreds of youth from Benue State on Wednesday blocked the gates to the Government House to stop the Governor, Samuel Ortom, from going for a meeting in Abuja.

A security source told The Next Edition that the youth started arriving the Government House from all over the state at about 8 a.m.

They barricaded the main gates to the Government House while some went inside and pulled the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag from the governor’s official vehicle.

The angry youth are also said to have destroyed APC billboards and effigies in many parts of Makurdi.

The siege on the Government House is still on at the time of filing this report.
