A tough Mexican side stunned Germany by defeating them 1-0.
Germany was in control of the game but Mexico relied on quick counter attacks.
The counter attack paid off at the stroke of half time as they scored the goal that saw them claim three points.
Germany threw in everything they had.
Attack after attacks were well defended by the Mexicans.

The question now is: Would Germany, the defending champions leave the competition in the group stage like Spain and Italy?
Italy won the World Cup in 2006 but failed to make it out of the group stage in 2010.
Spain won the 2010 World Cup but failed to make it out of the group stage in 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Football pundits are asking if Germany may also fail to qualify for the round of 16.
It may be too early to say because they have two games to play in the group stage.
They have South Korea and Sweden to play.
On paper they may sound like easy teams to beat.
In reality it may be a different ball game as had been learnt in this competition.
