Barrister Kenneth Udeze, the National Chairman of Action Alliance (AA), who was abducted in front of a Zenith Bank branch in Abuja, has regained his freedom.
Mrs Genevieve Udeze, his wife, who broke the news to The NEXT EDITION by 4.pm said he was released this afternoon.
She confided that he was still being expected at his home.
She said: “Chief Udeze, my husband has been released. He is on his way home. Please, let’s allow him home first so that he can do the rest of the briefing. God bless you, sir.”
Udeze was abducted in a mysterious circumstance, in what his family and party sources said were clear case of political kidnapping, even as they linked his travail to the Imo State governorship and the coming September 7 convention of his party in Osun State.
It was believed that his abducted, suspected to be security men who were on unofficial assignment, took him to Osun State, where he had been kept incommunicado.
