A popular Abuja-based crossdresser, known as Area Mama, has been reportedly murdered.
The crossdresser was found dead and covered with bruises, suggesting a violent assault.
According to reports, Area Mama was murdered in cold blood and dumped by the roadside on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. The incident has sparked outrage and shock among the LGBTQ+ community and social media users.
Area Mama had previously narrated an experience of being publicly assaulted during one of his outings in the nation’s capital. The crossdresser had shown off the blue-black eye he got from the physical assault in a video posted on social media.
