The All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed that its National Executive Council meeting fixed for Tuesday, March 17, 2020, would hold as scheduled.
Recall that the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) and Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu had announced the indefinite postponement of the NEC meeting after a meeting of the governors and President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Monday.
However, a fresh notice issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lanre Issa-Onilu, on Monday night insisted that the NEC meeting would hold on March 17.
Issa-Onilu said that all members of National Working Committee were expected to attend the meeting.
The notice read in part: “A meeting of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at the party’s National Secretariat by 12pm.
“All members of the NWC are expected to attend as important matters concerning the party will be considered and deliberated at the meeting.”
