No fewer than 15 lawmakers defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the leading opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party on Tuesday.

The defection notice was read at the plenary by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

Others are Isa Misau; Monsurat Sunmonu; Soji Akanbi;  Usman Nafada; Musa Kwankwaso; Suleiman Nazif; Lanre Tejuosho and Senator Abdulazaz Nyako.
