The Lagos State Government has discharged 12 patients undergoing treatment for coronavirus at the Lagos State isolation centres.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this known on his verified Facebook page and Twitter handle on Thursday.
He disclosed that a Ukrainian was among the 12 people that have tested negative twice and discharged.

Sanwo-Olu said, “12 more persons; nine males and three females including a foreign national – a Ukrainian – have been discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
“The patients, six from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; five from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital and one from Ibeju-Lekki were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.
“This brings to 199 the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.”
