Eight members of the Imo State House of Assembly, among them, Speaker of the House, on Tuesday defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
They announced their defection during the day’s plenary.
Recall that the Deputy Speaker and some other PDP members had earlier decamped to the APC.
With Tuesday’s defections, the APC has taken control of the House.

Aboh Mbaise State Constituency
8. Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins
Isiala Mbano State Constituency (Speaker, Imo state house of Assembly).
