President Muhammadu Buhari has won the Presidential election in Lagos state.
In the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Yaba, Lagos, on Monday afternoon, Buhari got 580,814 votes to defeat his major opponent, Atiku, who got 448,016 votes.
He beat the PDP candidate with a wide margin of 132,798 votes.
While the All Progressives Congress, APC, Buhari won in 15 local government areas of Lagos, Atiku won in five councils.
