The Nigerian Army has announced the arrest of a member of the terrorist group, Boko Haram, declared wanted.
He is identified as Maje Lawan.
According to Army Spokesman, Brig.-Gen Texas Chukwu, in a statement he issued, Lawan was arrested at Banki in Borno State.
He is said to be 96 on the wanted list the Nigerian Army had published.
Lawan was said to have been arrested after he infiltrated an Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Banki area of Borno State.
Chukwu said the suspect would be handed over to the appropriate authority upon the completion of initial investigation into his case.
He also stated that Nigerian troops killed two terrorists at Malari Village also in Borno during an ambush while others fled into the bush.

The Next Edition, however, could not independently verify the claim.
10 bicycles, he said, were recovered from the insurgents.
In the same vein, the spokesman said, the Nigeria troops dislodged armed militia at Gbamjimba-Akor axis in Guma local government area of Benue State.
He said while some of them escaped with gunshot wounds, some were killed.
Recovered from them were one AK 47 rifle, two AK 47 rifle magazines, 60 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition and five motorcycles.
