Bike crash: Yusuf Buhari returns after treatment abroad

Yusuf Buhari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, who was involved in a bike crash, last December, is back in the country after a medical treatment abroad.

His mother, Aisha Buhari, made this known on her Twitter handle on Thursday.

She tweeted:  “We thank God for the return of our son Yusuf today (Thursday) after his medical trip.

“On landing at the airport, he was received by the Minister of Health (state) Dr. Osagie, while at the Villa, he was welcomed by family members, wife of the vice-president, the interior minister, Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi State, and associates.

“On behalf of the family I wish to express our appreciation for the goodwill and prayers since the unfortunate accident. May God Almighty bless all & continue to guide us all aright.”

It would be recalled that following the bike crash, he was admitted at Cedacrest Hospital in Abuja where he was operated upon.

He was discharged in January after having been certified to be fine before he was flown abroad.
