Former Big Brother Africa housemates, Pokello Nare and Elikem Kumordzie are currently going through a messy divorce after their separation in 2017.
Elikem and Pokello met during the 2013 Big Brother Africa, got engaged in 2014 and had a Traditional marriage in 2015.
Early 2017, Elikem took to his Instagram page to post a short video of an engagement ring with the caption: “I’m definitely not making a mistake on the next one. The right one.”
After rumours of their breakup, Pokello took to social media early this year and said:
“You will hear good things about me; you will hear bad things about me. Think what you want. I ain’t clearing s*** up.”
After their marriage hit rock bottom, Pokello moved back to Zimbabwe leaving her estranged husband in Ghana.
Last month, Elikem filed for divorce saying he lost affection and love before he declared their relationship “irreparable.”
Elikem further said Pokello was always jealous and took to harming his professional work as she got uncomfortable when he plays romantic roles in movies.

Pokello, 32, got married to Elikem, 29, under the Marriages Act at Harare, Zimbabwe on September 28, 2015, and the marriage still subsists.
Elikem’s declaration states that they have not stayed together as husband and wife for the past year since September 2017, such is regarded by Elikem to be incompatible with the continuation of a normal marriage relationship. As a result, he has lost love and affection to the extent that there are no prospects for reconciliation due to irretrievable differences between the parties.
Pokello who has reportedly refused to sign the divorce papers has since filed a notice of intention to defend summons issued by Elikem Kumordzie, seeking a decree of divorce against her.
“Be pleased to take note that the defendant has entered an appearance to defend the above action on this 28th day of September.” her notice read.
She placed the notice on the September 28, a day after she was served with the summons.
Meanwhile, Elikem says he doesn’t mind giving full custody of their child to Pokello, he sought a divorce decree that the custody of their child be awarded to her with him having access to the minor on agreed holidays. He also agrees to pay $500 monthly for their maintenance.
