Ahead of 2023 general elections, a House of Representatives Member for Konshisha/Vandeikya Federal Constituency and governorship aspirant, Mr. Herman Hembe, has solicited for massive support of MINDA people to enable him fly the party’s flag at the forthcoming party primaries and also win the general election.

MINDA people are those from Makurdi, Guma, Gwer East and Gwer West Local Government Areas of Benue state.

Hembe who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, consulted the APC EXCO, elders and other groups in the LGAs soliciting their support to enable him emerge victorious at yh polls.

Speaking during the visit, Hembe promised to work for the interest of the general Benue populace irrespective of their political, religious or tribal leanings.

The federal lawmaker who recounted his political journey from 2007, when he won his first election to represent the people of Jechira, Konshisha/ Vandeikya, at the National Assembly, said his antecedents at the House speaks volumes and he intends to replicate all and more in the state.

He, therefore, solicited for their maximum supports to ensure his victory in the forthcoming party primaries and during the general election.

Hembe who said he was not against anybody vying for the same position with him having distinguished himself among his political rivals, urged the MINDA people to demand aspirants to bring out their scorecards in their previous public position saying it will help them choose widely.

Speaking on behalf of the four LGAs, Elder Akange Audu, who pledged their unalloyed support for Hembe 2023 gubernatorial ambition, thanked him for his numerous projects in the region and advised him to replicate same to the entire state when elected come 2023.
