The Governor of Bauchi State, Mohammed Abubakar, has dedicated his Vanguard Governor of the Year 2017 Award to the people of his state.
The governor received the award on Saturday.

The award was given in recognition of the governor’s continuous sterling performances and consistent development strides.
Describing Vanguard as a credible organisation, the governor said the award was a clear attestation to his commitment to improving the lives of the people.
He said with the amount of work done by his government, even political detractors could not deny the wave of development in the state.
He said he had been committed to developing Education, Infrastructural, Health, Youth and Women, Tourism and Agriculture among others.
