President Muhammadu Buhari flagged off the All Progressives Congress’ campaign for the Bauchi South Senatorial bye-election on Thursday calling on all to vote for the party’s candidate.
The party’s flag bearer is Lawal Yahya Gumau.
The event which was held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, was attended by top members of the APC as well as members of the general public.
The National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole; Bauchi State APC Chairman, Uba Ahmed Nana, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State among others were present.
Governor Mohammed Abubakar was the host
Dignitaries present at the occasion called on the people of the state to vote for the APC flag bearer.
Uba Ahmed Nana described Gumau as a credible person.

In the same vein, Governor Abubakar said the APC should be voted for in order to make everyone enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Oshiomhole in his speech stated that the APC had purged itself of the bad eggs in its fold.
He said the masses should vote APC candidates at all elections to ensure they reaped the full benefits of democracy.
