President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the killing of 25 persons by bandits in Sokoto State.

Buhari, in a statement by his senior aide, Garba Shehu, on Sunday, expressed deep shock and sadness over the deaths, which occurred during Saturday’s banditry attacks in three communities in Rabah Local Government Area of the State.

According to the statement, the President condoled with Gov. Aminu Tambuwal and the people of the State over the unfortunate incident and condemned all acts of violence and terrorism against innocent Nigerians.

He restated that those who perpetrate and sponsor such evil acts would answer to the law.

The President prayed for the quick recovery of those who sustained injures during the attack, assuring that his administration would leave no stone unturned in the fight against terrorists, bandits and kidnappers across the country.
