The National Coordinator, Family, Women and Youth for Atiku, Mrs. Arit Okoi, has disclosed that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar would lift the country out of extreme poverty through job creation.
In her words, “Every Nigerian would admit without exception that the past three and half years have been very challenging with hunger and poverty.
“But I believe that if we all join hands to vote for Atiku, smiles would return to every face in Nigeria.”
Okoi disclosed that fighting corruption without lifting the people out poverty would amount to a mere semantic which would not make meaning to the people.

“Atiku would fight corruption, but beyond that he would use his connection to bring investors to the country which at the end would create job for our teeming unemployed youths and reduce crimes.”
She expressed confidence in the ability of the PDP candidate to defeat that of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, judging by the manner a lot of people have been dumping APC for PDP after his emergence as the presidential candidate of the party.
“A lot of people have been jubilating and in the process crossing from APC to PDP.
“It is an indication of his acceptance and I don’t have doubt over his ability to defeat the candidate of APC in 2019 because people are not prepared to continue with the level of poverty beyond next year.”
She stressed that in 2019, Nigerians would smile, if Atiku emerged as the president of the country.
