Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned the recent attack on Garkida community in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last general elections, took to his Twitter handle to console the families affected by the attack even as he lamented the spate of attacks.

He wrote: “The attack by Boko Haram against lives & properties of innocent Nigerians is unbecoming.

“My prayers are with the people of Garkida in my home state of Adamawa over the cowardly attack that happened over the weekend. May God give the affected families fortitude to bear the loss”.

The attack which occurred on Friday is the latest in a series of attacks in the state and in the northeast by Boko Haram terrorists.
