Another Chibok girl in the custody of the terrorists group, Boko Haram, has been rescued by the military.
The rescue was carried out on Thursday by the troops of the Operation Lafiya Dole deployed in Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno.
According to a statement by the spokesman of Operation Lafiya Dole, Col. Onyema Nwanchukwu, preliminary investigations revealed that the young girl rescued is Salomi Pagu.
According to Nwachukwu, Salomi is number 86 on the list of the abducted Chibok girls published online.

Said Nwachukwu: “Currently the chibok girl who was intercepted in the company of another young girl, Jamila Adams, 14, with a child are in the safe custody of troops and receiving medical attention.”
It would be recalled that about 103 of the Chibok school girls abducted in 2014 have been rescued following the efforts of the federal government.
Many of the girls were rescued last year in a swap deal between the terrorists and the government.
As it is, no fewer than 106 girls have so far regained freedom.
