The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Wednesday described Rashidi Ladoja and Adebayo Alao-Akala, former governors of the state as outdated politicians.
The Oyo APC, in a statement by Dr. AbdulAzeez Olatunde, its Publicity Secretary, declared that both Ladoja and Alao-Akala were no longer in tune with the modern principle of governance, adding that their utterances in recent times showed that they were far behind in developmental politics.
Olatunde said the attitude of both men should not be surprising as their definition of politics involved thuggery, hooliganism, and financial misappropriation, stressing that the administrations of both Ladoja and Alao-Akala were characterised by violence and financial impropriety.

He maintained that Ladoja’s frustration should be understood as he had traversed four different political parties in the last one year, stressing that his desperation to be at the helm and recently as a godfather was already telling on his action.
The Oyo APC stated that Ladoja had attempted to return to the seat of power twice and failed on both occasions despite feeding the general public with lies and fabrications about the Governor Abiola Ajimobi administration.
Meanwhile, the Oyo APC would on Friday, February 1, organise a programme tagged ‘Oyo Youth Connect,’ also known as ‘Next Level Dance Party’ during which the youths would interact with APC candidates in the state.
Olatunde said the programme would hold between 4.pm and 10.pm at the Agodi Garden, Ibadan, stressing that maximum security had been guaranteed.
