One of the contestants for the position of the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Hajia Salamatu Bewa, is confident that the delegates will vote her.
Speaking with The Next Edition, she said “By God’s grace I will win.”

When asked why she is running for the position, she said, “I want to fight for inclusiveness for women in politics. Women are not well represented. I want to be a voice for the women.
“My message to the delegates is for them to do the right thing. They should vote me as the women leader of the APC.”
