The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has recovered twelve properties, N2.4 billion, $115 million, and bullet-proof cars from former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adeola Amosu (rtd).
Also, the sum of N383 million was recovered from Amosu’s wife through a bank draft for the federal government.
Amosu is being prosecuted by the EFCC over alleged corrupt practices.
Also standing trial with him are two serving senior air force officers – Jacob Adigun and Gbadebo Olugbenga.
Tosin Owobo who is a prosecution witness made the revelations on Tuesday at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

He said that upon securing interim forfeiture order, the EFCC visited, marked, sealed and restricted all the properties in question to show the general public that the said properties were under investigations.
However, the counsel to the defendants, Bolaji Ayorinde, was opposed to the evidence of the prosecution witness, saying it was not relevant because it was not before the court.
“The witness cannot allude until the documents are put before your Lordship either in the proof or additional proof of evidence. The witness cannot give evidence on the content of the interim forfeiture order because the court and the defence team have not sighted the documents,” he said.
The judge, M.B. Idris, however admitted the evidence and adjourned the case to April 18.
